Message | Several years ago I sent a simple email to KWE asking for information. I had no idea what that would lead to. From that email I have talked to others who lost loved ones, fathers and family. I have talked to first responders who were among the first to be at the crash site. I have watched the web site grow, with more information and reports still being added. This year it was 60 years since the worst military air disaster in history occurred. My heart breaks for all those who lost loves ones. Thank you Lynnita Brown for insuring those men will not be forgotten. |

Message | I was at the Chosin Reservoir in 1950. I was also in China at French arsenal 1945 thru 1947. This site has brought back memories. Remember the Marine saying in Korea, "We didnt come first. We came last just to save the army's ass." |

Message | Hi Lynnita, For years I have been corresponding with another Korean War vet named John Smart. All of a sudden my mail was being returned as undeliverable. I have tried every way I can to find out what happened to him. If anyone who reads this knows John and what happened, I would really appreciate hearing about him in my email address listed. Thanks again for your service to those of us that fought in The Forgotten War. You are helping to keep it remembered. |

Message | I would like to correct the home state listed in this site, of Lt. Randy Twichell (deceased August 11, 1968) was from Michigan, not Virginia as posted. Today is the 45th anniversary of his death, and I just found this website by chance. Randy was my eldest brother, my parents would have found some comfort had they known there was a website with a dedicated section to those who have died in Korea, after the greater conflict ended. |

Message | I was a platoon sgt with a Sergeant Bradley (cannot rmember his first name) in Korea from 1950 to 1951, and would love to know if he went back to Korea with a tanker unit once we left Camp Cook in California in 1952. I was also known by my buddies as String Bean or String. Also served with a medic who was KIA by the last name Anazuski and a soldier by the name of James Hammond (also KIA). These guys were really close to me. Also any info on a soldier by the name of Willie Spells who was wounded (lower jaw lost by explosion) that I treated and took to medical unit would be appreciated. |
