Message | I am trying to help my Dad find anyone from his Army unit. He was in Korea from 1950-1953. His first unit was in Kentucky the 101st Airborne. Then in Korea the 110 Replacement Battalion. He is in good health but is really wanting to reconnect with anyone that can. Thank you. |

Message | I served in the US Navy, 1951 thru 1954 aboard the USS Piedmont. So many stories of brave men who served during this time, I am compelled to respond to an American of Turkish descent who is concerned his nation isn't mentioned. I have personally spoken to USMC guards in Pusan, observed Turk soldiers in Sasebo and heard stories about them while healing in the Vallejo Naval hospital. They were warriors and the North koreans dreaded capture or battle with them. You can be proud of their contribution to the United nations war efforts in Korea. |

Message | I continue to hope that all of our troops who were lost in the Korean War and prior and subsequent wars will all be returned home in the United States and May God Bless and rest their souls forever. I am deeply indebted to them one and all as well as eternally grateful for defending liberty, their country, and their fellow Americans. Rest in eternal peace. |

Message | My father was one of the survivors of the Hill 303 massacre. This is the anniversary of the beginning of the Korean Conflict. I am so proud of him and of all those who served in Korea. He says it makes him happy to know that the children of Korea were able to go to school in a free South Korea. |
